Libby
Libby Sterling is a visual artist and musician based in Alaska. Her current focus is on dimensional illustration and illustrative design for editorial applications, children's literature and portraiture. Music is another lifelong passion, from fiddling on street corners to composing/recording for film scores and podcasts.
After earning her BFA in photography, Libby served as a journalist, editor and designer for the Capital City Weekly and Juneau Empire newspapers. In addition, she has been a contributor to other local and national publications and media outlets. Other career highlights include stints as a naturalist photo guide, a bicycle rickshaw operator, a construction project manager and a summer camp manager.
